Standing next to my KR verada parked in the garage when I hear a loud buzzing (like a mobile phone vibrating on a table). Trace the buzzing to a metal relay box behind the glove box, next to the ECU. Turn the ignition on . . buzzing stops. . turn it off. . it starts again in a few seconds. Start & run the motor. . turn it off . . buzzing start up again. Some 15 minutes later it makes a click and stops. Weird!
Thanks for any ideas.

Climate control fault maybe.
Solenoid for air intake open/close hatch is close to the ECU, that could be the problem, try opening and closing it on your climate control panel and see if the problem persists.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I have now seen a photo in a workshop manual and it is the EFI control relay.
Could also explain why my car sometimes shudders under load when taking off (like it has one dead cylinder) I have replaced all plug leads and spark plugs with new ones. **** of a job replacing the plugs on the firewall side of motor.
