Does anyone know if there's any difference between the models?
There are usually some 3.0 magnas at the wreckers, so I was hoping I could pull a pulley off one of those.

they should be the same as the V6 3 ltr and the 3.5 ltr motors
differ slightly with heads and cams
may have the same crank ... dont think mitsi would want to spend too much on motor changes

Well you got one of the quotes right the crank pulleys are identical ,, CRANKSHAFTS are not they did change the cranks for a 3.0 ltr and a 3.5 ltr ....You will find however that the 3.0 ltr 12 valve motor has the same crankshaft as the 3.0 24 valve engine and bearinf are the same aswell...I worked in the factory in Adelaide for several years and wouldnt lead you astray..

yes that is correct it is the same between both motors.the main dif between 3 litre and 3.5
is the internals most of the external parts were the same.
