OK now before anyone abuses me for being cheap........STOP!!!
My mate with his peice of **** VN commodore wants to know if it is possible to bridge the outputs on a Head Unit.
It is a decent pioneer unit, the last series i beleive. He has an amp powering the rear 6x9s and asked me if it is possible to bridge the head units outputs for the front 6s. I have no idea and thought I would ask here. Well, what do you guys think?
okay, abuse your mate for being cheap then :P
don't bother

I thought of doing this because I have POS sub I wanted to try out, so I emailed Pioneer, and he said connecting any of the output wires together from the headunit would damage the mosfet amp inside, so he better not to do that.

i had a 4ch headunit that would power 5 speakers by bridging the rear channels whilst still operating the 2 rear speakers too  kinda like the 2ch amps you can wire up into 3ch
why bridge the front and have a mono sounding front end while the rears get amped
amp the fronts run the 6x9's off the deck off LR and RR not bridged
ohhhh wait did you say VN commodore?
if yes
do what he said cos he's right, wouldn't matter if an old commo burns down does wonders for the environment
