get a couple of amp panels made up to sit in your boot
they sit on either side of the boot

If you dont make it too messy and you dont have people using the rear seats too much mount them flat against the bottom carpet bit of your rear doors. Have the leads run into the doors as close to the amp as u can though. Keep it neat and thatll look smick!
Well... IMO

personally i think in the boot mounted on the sides tends to look good. On side pads as it's easy to hide wiring and such but still show off the amps.

Power cables and RCAs will be side by side going through the door grommet so you'll have some killer interferance...
Boot sides is my opinion.

how about mounted to your roof on the inside? screw them up into the hood lining and run all the cables through the pillars. dont know if would work but it could look cool

and if they stripped the holes and fell on your head say...... during a crash?
Boots are always win because of everything they have going for them: show off - cooling and the ability to build a cooling system for them easily - volume and bags of it - safety - locked up when you want so your 17 year old fullsik lebo cousin wants to retune your system for some hektik bass cuzzybro. Gah, shoot that kid.

yeah you would have to find a much stronger way to mount them rather than the little screws for the roof mount idea. what about welding a mounting braket to the metal inside roof and cutting holes in the roof lining so the amps sit a little more flush with the hood lining? still, lot of effort for something that would look better in the boot anyway

i still like the idea of mine being under my seats, one nder drivers, one under passanger.
doesnt show them off, but by far the safest place for them! who woule be bothered to unbold my seats to steal my amps! haha
as for showing off.. ummm? custom parcel self???

if you want them in the best spot to be shown off take the advice already said, mount them in the boot on the sides or under some perspex in a false floor, thats the whole idea of a boot install

mount them like this, no probs

Plus welding would put burns on the paint on the otherside and possibly buckles in it too. This dude isn't a millionare! nice thought but.
what about mounting them in the rear of the front seats? that'd probably costwise on-par with the roof idea but.

I agree. It's easy to setup, easy to wire, and it's a good spot to show them off. Behind the wheel arches is a 'dead zone' IMO anyway - so it takes up very little boot space. I've got photos of my install here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showpost.php?p=730699&postcount=20).
