you will need the steering wheel with the cruise stuff on it
the 2 accelerator cables
the cruise controller for the engine bay
and the part of the loom from steering wheel through the fire wall for it

all getable from a wrecker

You will also need a new brake light switch.

Standard car has a single circuit switch.

Cruise control cars have a double switch.
One circuit is the brake lights, the other is to drop the cruise out when you brake.

Do you need wiring diagrams??

gerry.

new brake light switch
cruise throttle body
cruise ecu plus the dash switch
the clock spring "What is this???" i dont have Air Bag

Anything else needed?
did the TE have the contols on steering wheel or stalk? KR Verada had on steering wheel?
As for the throttle body ....i take it i just need to add a vac port to mine?? or get a CC one?
Yes a wiring diagram would be handy if you have one thanks spud100
So the wiring is seperate to the main harness?
Thanks for the help , just want to make sure i get everything needed from Wreckers

The KE/KF had the cruise button below the cluster (where the TCL button is on later models)and the control on the steering wheel. (I assume TE/TF are the same)

KH onwards had the cruise button and controls on the steering wheel.

So I guess it depends on which model you steal the parts from as to what youll need.

Ok guys after alot of stuffing around i got the needed parts from a 97 TE ,it looks to me that my car dosnt have the same wiring Harness as the one with CC, Anyway i managed to cut out the wiring from the left side to right side behind the dash and also the plug from the vacume activator in the engine bay.So now i need a wiring diagram if anybody has one of where it all runs so i can make up a small harness i can install separate to the main one,can anybody help me please.

Why not go aftermarket. You can buy an Auscruise which is made here in Melbourne. Top unit with no hassles. They also come with a steering wheel switch for convienience. I used to fit these things and they are the best aftermarket cruise around.

No there isnt a plug for the activator "just another for rear washer on wagon i think" Looks to me like they must have different harnesses for different models,"unlike the old cars" as for the other CC options...be ok if they didnt want a arm and a leg for them... this setup has cost $120 so far i would be lucky to get an after market one for 3 times that ammount.

BUT aftermarket is all there, looks like factory installed and is fitted in about1.5 hours. It is a good option
