To pass pits inspection, I need to replace my RHS front steering rack boot.
I can either pay $80 to have it done, or have a go at it myself.
Has anyone ever done it before or is it too difficult? Whats the procedure?

Remove the wheel, remoge the tie rod end, remove the old boot, clean and install new boot and then re assemble. You will need to mark the tie rod position then get a wheel allignment

Just for the record, a pair of boots at Burson here in Vic are about 20 bucks to buy.
