I have just bought a TR Magna sedan which was modified by a mob who used to operate out of a premises at Taren Point rd Taren Point in Sydney, NSW. I am trying to get some info about them but it appears that they have folded their tents and disappeared into the night. The magna is marked on the boot as an SE but on the other side of the bootlid there is a decal saying USC Design and a sticker under the bonnet giving a build number, the builders initials, USC Design HRT and address of the company and the date on which ( I guess ) the work was carried out. 1992. Being an SE TR, I was not expecting much but now that I have had a chance to really look at it, it has every possible extra you could get on a magna, electric mirrors which work, electric windows front and rear which all work, Verada looking clock, cruise control on the steering wheel, individual map lights, perspex wind deflectors on both drivers and passenger side windows. Also a spoiler with led, but no sunroof.
Does anybody know this mob? If you do , what can you tell me about them? Are they still in business anywhere? Cheers

Perhaps USC design was a company and this was their company car. And the sticker on the back was advertising and the sticker under the hood was for tracking or something.
Just throwing it out there.

USC are long gone.
I was trying to get a USC kit for a different car i had many years ago.
They sold their moulds to a place called FREEDOM BODYKITS in Blacktown who also disappeared about 7 years ago.
No idea what happened to the moulds since then.
Probably got destroyed or sitting in someone's shed for the last 7 years collecting dust.
If you do find them, please let me know as i would love to get my hands on one of their old kits.

thanks for the replies and info. The car was not a runout , it was complianced 08/92 and mods were done at the same time. The sticker under the bonnet is an adhesive aluminum certificate of the work done with the tradesmans initials, job number and other details engraved on it... Hulkstar, you are the only person I know who has even heard of them. Ah well, the car is back to standard except for all the verada bits now. just one other thing, all of the interior mods were Mitsubishi. (cruise, clock, mirrors, door windshields etc)

I was under the impression that the SE came with those bits as standard? ie. windows, clock, cruise, and map lights? From what I've seen, the line between SE and Verada seems to be very blurry?
Does this have a body kit at all then? If not, buggered if I know, the rest sounds fairly standard for an SE to my knowledge.
