Hey fellas just a question for the tech heads and anyone familiar with wiring
My GTO front cut didn't come with the wiring harness for the coil pack and gearbox
Is there a way of working this all out?

My auto electrician called me this morning and told me i need to source the wiring harness for the gearbox and the coil pack. Honestly i don't know what my options are or what is needed :rant:
Mine is an automatic gearbox and front wheel drive - previous engine was a SOHC.

Your help will be much appreciated guys.
AJ is currently looking if he can take out the wiring in his front cut for me but if anyone knows any thing else or any other ways around this that would be great.

You could quite easily make up a loom if you had a wiring diagram - coil pack is only a couple of wires.

and like i said the sohc tcu should still have a loom and be running your auto.

Either way haltech coil pack 180$

Let me know if you want the loom or part of it cause i'll cut it out if its possible.

he got actually got the shiets with me told me that "this is causing a lot of headaches" :confused:
he calls me this morning and was like "LISTEN i need you to chase up the wiring harness for the gearbox and the coil pack" in an annoyed tone. i was about to blast him but thought calm down calm down i'll find out what he wants and see what i can do... sheesh :rant:

I'll have a look when i go down tommorow... see what's to see, has he done anything like this before?

yeah the funny thing is he's done heaps of conversions on vl's and rotaries and skylines etc. but he hasn't done this before
so i don't know why he's freaking out

i called him later in the arvo again and go how hard can it be and he said "it's just going to be a massive headache because without the harness and plugs i don't know what goes where" http://www.mitsubishiclubaustralia.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif and i was so close to say man i'm gonna be paying you over $1300 for the wiring to get done wtf! was so close to blasting him soooo close but i just don't want to have to look for another electrician when i need the car soon and for autosalon! grrr :sook:

have you spoken to the workshop today dan? i didn't get a chance to speak to them because i was too busy calling every wrecker to try and find gto wiring

If hes being paid $1300, I'd expect him to go figure it out. thats whats hes getting paid for.

yeah that's the thing i don't understand how hard it must be - after all he's the auto electrician shouldn't he at least have some sort of idea or at least attempt to connect things up
i'll give the workshop a call tomorrow and ask what's going on
