i know a few guys were developing cold air induction systems for the TR/TS, i was just wondering how far they had got and if any are completed?

cam , i put a pod in my car and got rid of the air box and then run a 40mm hose for forsed air , i dont now if it works as in cold air intake , but u can tell the difference , and cost me $15.00 :lol: :lol:

Yeah I would be interested to hear about how you routed a 4" hose... I would probably make an extension of the factory intake into the filter box. A while back I used 2 2" hoses which picked up from behind the bumper and then filled the airbox intake nicely since it is a rectangular opening; sealed up the gap with duct tape. Didn't work terribly well though.

Hey teK, he meant 40mm not 4". I have a k&n pod which is partially
enclosed with metal sheeting with a 3" pipe leading to it from the bumper.
Mitsuman (Dave) did it for me while I was in Perth. There is a rectangular
hole next to the battery with a black plastic cover which her removed and
enlarged the hole to fit the 3" flexi pipe through. The hole on the right side
of the bumper is for the pod. The other one just feeds extra air to the
engine bay. I'll take some pics soon and post them.

I was going to say... people with success in custom CAI jobs, post here. My pod sucks in about as much hot air as your average politician exhales in a week.
