What is this Belt as it is worn and i need to replace it (not much good with engines) how much is it likely to cost? (picture in my profile as i have an exam today and didnt have time to figure out how to upload an image) its a TS mag exec, and thats the front passenger side

it looks like its connected to the alternator to me from your pic in profile

Alternator belt mate. take the numbers off the belt (i.e 4PK1382) and take it to supercheap/repco etc and get them to match it up

if thats the case what kind of belt should i ask for at the auto joint? or are they different depending on model etc

make sure yo tell them
that your car has powersteering
that belt runs off the crank and does both alternator and the powersteering :D
there is a belt listed for non power sterring

yeah id already left before that message came thru... think i got the right belt anyway, was a little confused when they asked whether i had powersteering, was kinda like uh yeah, whats that got to do with anything?:confused:

two belts are still listed
the same belt is used for the First gens
but the base model TMs and some TNs didnt come with powersteering :redface:
