ES - Base Model
VR Sport - Next level up... interior trim, suspension, mags etc
VRX - One level up again... More trim, engine work, suspension, bodykit, mags
Easy way to look is do a compare of the 3 on URL="http://www.redbook.com.au"]Redbook[/URL]
You will easily be able to spot the differences then.
Cheers

What he said, except the "engine work" aka Rear Muffler is also on the VR.

Do they change the chip or anything else or is it quite literally just a higher flow exhaust system? If so, what level of performance difference does it actually yield? (or does it just sound faster? lol)

its the equivalent of the Lukey LR2779, found on the vrx/sports, and is the reason they get 8kw more at the flywheel, so good for around 5kw at the wheels, good sound too :)

its just the muffler... nothing else to increase the performance.. its yields close to nothing in performance as the extra weight in the VR-X models would have compensated for the power gains...

Exactly, but as mentioned the sound is well worth it!

dunno about the sound thing, the red back i had on my TF 3.0L auto sounded nice as well... i reckon it would have gone better with a manual car
