Anything is possible with money....
You'd need a whole custom front end, not to mention fitting the nissan driveline in, but hey, if you had alot of money, and actually wanted to go down a litre in size why not:P

I'm bored at work but not that bored.... If you really had to have an (insert large number)hp awd Magna, for what it would cost, even if you could fit an rb26tt in there, you could easily have developed a big hp v6. But having thought about awd plus big power before, I have a better idea-
4G63t - 200kw standard, easy to get lots more power and torque, the running gear should readily accept it, and you are keeping the weight distribution better. Also, a 4G63t in a magna engine bay leaves heaps of room for intercooler pipes and all the other power making bits and pieces that hang off a turbo motor. This way, you are spending most of your money on horsepower rather than engineering. You could fit a turbo as big as your head in there, and go race skylines all day. And have a practical family car.
Cheap if you just buy a motor and bolt it up to the auto, or go a manual conversion while you are at it. Probably easy to register legally too. So you'd get a big fat Evo Lagna.

yeah it could be fitted with enough money. i would go the rb26 over the 4g63 for 2 reasons. 1: more torque to cart the heavier body around (especially if you went big turbo, which means more lag), and 2: the atessa 4wd system. pull a fuse out and you have a rwd car, or you can buy a torque split controller for about $150

Fitting it in transversally would be your first hurdle...a 'long' Inline 6 vs a compact V6.

Might as well just TT an awd magna.
