theres a fuse under the bonnet, the symbol looks similar to this i think

check that and that should be blown if the one under the steering wheel isnt.
cheers
just slap it around a bit and make it toe the line again :D

lol theres been a few of them :P
front end pretty much got written off due to a stupid bitch :( thankfully the car was insured for a stupid amount and wasnt a write off and repaired amply
might have to trace everything from the wheel to the horn to make sure. might be a good excuse for a horn conversion as well :D

yea, definately check the wires under the bonnet near the horn, might have been cut or frayed and rubbing up against the body when u had the accident.

thanks for that dude :D will have to check this weekend
Could be a comon issue with electricals - a bad earth. Possibly the earth wire from the horn to the body was damaged (might not be cut, could be as simple as being bent too much and broken inside).
Reason horn might then work when the lights are on is it can earth through the lighting system (not sure how the wiring is done in magna's though).
Broken wires will sometimes work and sometimes not - so check for bent wires......

Ok there may be a couple problem, either a dead horn or the horn switch is dead. On a second gen it the horn button of the steering wheel does break. As there negative switch, so you can get a multimeter stick where the horn plugs in. Then pressed the horn button and see if you get above 12 volts :D Easy way to tell what gone wrong :)

Ive got a wiring issue with my horn... The old steering wheel cover was so screwed that the horn constantly went off. I removed the whole assembly to put a boss kit and sports steering wheel in, but I'm having trouble with rewiring. Anyone have any pointers for me?
