Hi Folks,

Acquired a TCL TB recently but it wont open the butterfly. I don't have any reference point for these TBs, so hoping someone could take a second to tell me what is wrong in the pics with the linkage/spring/actuation please:

Gotta be a missing return spring or something :think: :confused: I have circled a metal tab with roller that's sitting out in limbo with markings on the screw head that may have been disturbed - doesn't seem to be performing any funtion at all!

In that case relocating the metal tag would seem the only adjustment - but it doesn't seem to do much at all :confused:

There are wear patterns on the correct faced surfaces so nothing seems to be giving anything away atm.

I have a spare TCL TB at home, I'll take some pics for comparison if I remember.

Do you still need help with this? I should be able to pull mine off and have a look, provided my wife doesn't kill me after I crashed it last week:redface:

I'm good at the moment as I now have another TCL unit to compare to. Few obvious differences, need to make a few minutes to go over it properly.
