well not noticible really at low end or on takeoff but is seems to have slightly more torque in the midrange and top-end. havnt been able to take it out and absolutly hammer it just yet but it feels promising. also gives it a nice sounding idle, bit deeper sounding.

when time comes later down the line i think im gonna get a better muffler. i dont want one thats really loud tho as ive heard the lukey one that people have been recomending is a little too loud. any recomendations for a fairly good one which will make the note a bit deeper in pitch but not too loud? was looking at a magnafow one but not certain which model would be best. also they are fairly expensive.

Extractors usually yeild mid-high end gains rather than low end.

I have the lukey and it's not loud at all...I honestly dont know where you got that from at idle you dont hear it at all...you'd swear it's a stock muffler. When you give it some, it has a definite note...but nothing you'd be hearing ten blocks away. It's not a muffler made for noise..it was made for performance.

Yes it's straight through, it is basically the same as the VRX muffler, so if you've heard a VRX you'll have a fair idea on what it sounds like.

Straight thru doesnt always mean really loud...they are naturally louder..but because of the length of it (it's really long!) it muffles quite well.

Performance wise..it made a huge difference...it freed the entire car up, like someone had cut the ropes that held the weights being dragged behind the car.

Hey guys I just got the Lukey 2779 muffler installed in my TR yesterday and all I can say it's it great. Exactly what KB said. It's more probably performance focused and at idle it sounds like a stock muffler but when you put your foot down it has a nice tune and it's not very loud if that's what your concern was. It's just a great tune that makes the car just that little bit more fun to drive. I got mine fully installed for $160.
