Noticed a few things that concern me... took some pics of it... its basically the same on both sides of the engine... and are mostly from underneath the car, near the oil sump area... what is it... :?

I should add that I had the engine thouroughly cleaned less than 4 weeks ago... so this is all very recent.

To be honest I'm not much of a mechanic, but it looks like radiator fluid to me..

Its Coolant, and will be either coming from a split hose or a leaky Welsh plug (Core Plug)

 Ditch the Astron and drop a V6 in :D :p

That is coolant fluid alright, but, it could only be minor at this stage, or, it could develop into something more serious, like a cracked gasket and that fluid starts leaking into the sump area, and that ends up being a seized motor dude, get it checked asap.

If you look closely you can see Nemo. Seriously though, looks like you are losing large amounts of coolant and oil.

Astron 2.6 + water leak at welch plug equals

Cracked Engine Block.

Sorry for the bad news - answer - new engine.

What Mal said...
Except when we did mine, they hadn't started leaking yet, very close though.

Just pull out the welch plug and then clean it out and put in a new one!

that looks like coolant alright, but not just from welch plug, or you would see it trickling around the plug only instead of everywhere else that oil leaks on engine. if you open the radiator the level is probably low and if you pull the dipstick there is probably coolant on it.

You need to get the head off to start and see if there is traces of the coolant getting into oil between block and head, then check surface of head for warping, if ur lucky and the problem is there it could be fixed with a new head gasket and or machined or exchanged head.
If u r not lucky, as dave said cracked or rusted through in block somewhere- new motor :(
