Just today (and lucky i had nowhere important to be) my hand brake handle on my tr just refused to move due to the little button that u press to release it not working, it seems as thou its either jammed itself or broken - if so should i just buy another handle from the wreckers & would i have to remove the drivers seat in order to fit it in, so basically what tools do i need?

you undo the centre console around the handbrake to get to its cables
and mounting bolts

well i decided to attack it with some wd40 first - by like spraying it around the ranchet & using the thin tube thingy that comes with the bottle to spray some inside it & everything thing seems fine lol, its working but still jams a bit if u pull it all the way back, thou not nearly as bad as the first time. So im just engaging it 3/4 of the way, which appears to be enough to lock it anyways, thx btw magna buff - your advice is always appreciated (even if i dont follow it lol).
