do KL count?
being that TL is the base for KL?
i love my car - its all standard apart from the tunes
Alpine CDA4100R headunit
DVA-5210 dvd reader thingy
and 6stacker MP3 thingo
still running the stock speakers
I love my verada - its the best car that i have ever owned and never want to give it up.
AWD is always a bonus and often lotsa fun too.
i love the interior - i think its better over the prev 3rd gen interior, but the exterior of like a KJ looks much better IMO
I just wish that mine had the leather interior - but the cloth/suede whatever it is, is still very very nice.

I've got a 2004 TL ES. I made the step up from a 1992 KR Verada, and it's definetely worth it.
It's never given me trouble, and it's the most refined and agile car I've driven.
So far -
16" KE Verada Alloys
K&N Panel Filter
Barry's Kits
22mm Adjustable Rear Sway
Front Strut Tower Brace
380 Front Brake Conversion
DBA 4000 Slotted Rotors
KH Verada Leather Shifter
and as bentattoo said, plenty more to come.
Does a TW count? I always liked the TL/TW front end. Since day one I thought that this shape had potential if it was lowered on some decent wheels. I originally wanted a 5spd manual but couldn't find one anywhere. On a spur of the moment decision I picked up an LS AWD for about the same money as an ES, very happy with it.
Have flowed my TB, very happy with that
Tried various CAI setups but didn't like losing bottom end torque with all that weight and driveline loss, so stock snorkel is back on.
intake resonator is off only because I like the sound, feels stronger down low after doing this and fuel economy improved slightly but there must be some other variables involved somewhere.
Waiting for a reply from Barry on the kits.
:D
Bargain car.
do KL count?
being that TL is the base for KL?
No one likes a show off :)
Mine has 17" Wheels (seen in avatar), lowered springs and ummm slightly darker than legal tint.
Kept the engine stock cause it's got a fair bit of poke standard.
I'll take some pictures next time it's clean and post em up.

But only magna and verada NO 380s.
Its not that i hate them its just that the idea
was to keep it tight.:D

I have a TL LS '04 model. Stock standard except for a towbar. Even has the stock 15" Mitsu mag. wheels. Tiptronic auto.
Purchased it with 80K on it - now has 100K. No troubles at all except the battery died last week - probably the original one which has expired.
It does the job for me as a daily driver. Generally satisfied with it as far as reliability and driveability. I sometimes get a bit miffed about the larger than normal turning circle in car parks though.

03 TL ES.
bought it off my old man about 5 months ago.
would of loved a manual, and the vrx model, but eh. what ya gonna do.
came lowered with 16's which my brother slammed into a kerb and had to be replaced.
so far
pod filter with custom CAI
barrys mods
straight through exhaust (needs replacing)
would love to do more, but i just don't have the money.
Mines a KL Verada...its VIN number states that its sequnce number 27 (Jul 03)...I assume that makes it the twenty seventh TL/KL to roll of the line.
It just so happens that 27 is one of my favourite numbers, as this was the F1 Ferrari number that one of my favourite drivers ( Gilles Villineuve) drove, before being killed. But thats another story...
Mine is all stock except for Whiteline strut brace, and rear adjustable way bar...and the blue interior leds.

well at least you have taken it to where its made to go...
unlike half the Toorak tractors (luxury 4WD) we have in melbourne... damm thing spends more time being detailed than seeing mud...

You can get ones for the back but not for the front.

saphire verada... at the end of the road trip, it was a lovely 2tone colour... well... if you count the nose and the inner edge of the bootlid - oh and part of the roof resembling the clean saphire colour!!! lol
last post/reply... i got muuuuuch dirtier than that by the end of the trip (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54308&page=2)
at least your colour, kinda hides the dirt/mud a lot better than.. WHITE! lol

My TL ES, only thing I have done so far is lower it.
Looking to put some bigger wheels on it and would love to get a VRX front bar, otherwise I will try and put in a VRX nose grille, foggies and mayber VR grille for the slot at the bottom of the front bar.

if you want the VRX grille then your gonna need the bumper too
the bumper is completely different to the standard one
but the fog lights and VR grille should fit

Hi all,
Newbie to the AMC and being a Magna owner :D . I have a 2005 TW VRX AWD in Sapphire blue. Pretty stock standard at the moment, have personalized plates, custom floor mats and reversing sensors. Future mods are baby capsule and sat nav, and what ever the boss allows.:)
Noice one. You know it isn't just a baby seat, bags, pram in the boot, plus mother in law if you're real lucky! Enjoy!
See the sig!

I have just installed a vrx front bar onto my TL ES and it looks fantastic but it sits pretty low. I have 16" wheels on at the moment if i upgrade to 17's would it lift the height of my car any? I know it depends on the rubber they wrap the wheels in so what can i ask for? I have standard lowered my car on King springs if that helps.
Also do any of you guys with the vrx front bar who have lowered your car scratch the underside of the bar often?
Mate mines not lowered and it's showing white through on the bottom where it hangs down both sides.
Need to keep the same diameter when you go to 17's though
bentattoo is your car VRX42? i think was sold from Jack Caseys new.

My new VRX front bar on my TL ES Magna
It really toughens the car right up; especially with the body coloured grilles.
The Sprintex grille mod also looks quite hot -

Yeah, it really changes the look of the front end. Hope to be getting driving lights and wheels in the next month. Wheels will make a big difference also to the overall presentation.
Love this vrx front though.:D
I think it looks tuff without the foglights, like an air intake. Slimline front plate is the go
<-----------I upgraded to a TW when "the wagon" was written off.

Im also in the TL club :).........for a few more weeks anyway, get my new SS Commodore in a couple weeks.
Got an 04 TL ES
Pretty much bog standard, put a new Kenwood Head unit in it, replaced the speakers and tinted the windows. But im a bit of a car lover so it gets treated very well! cleaned and polished every couple weeks.......crazy but it looks great!
Absolutely love driving it on long trips very comfortable and very capable and has the power when you need it. On the longer trips, the car cruises very nicely at 140 kph (that i would know  )
Thing that pisses me off is the fact people think Magna's are for old people! especially those morons in their VY/VZ. Magna's have a ****load of features that cars today don't even have, sequential gear shift, electric seats, climate control, MASSIVE boot and a well built car and just as powerful as the commodores and fords of the time.
Think my biggest regret is the colour, gold isn't a great colour to play with and put spoilers, mags etc on it.
Ahhh gonna be sad to see it go :(
