Yeah, they don't bend like our normal bonnets, so will get shoved straight through the windscreen.

Just paint it matt black.
no more nasty sun reflections from the bonnet ;)

and when they do break they are sharp shards of stuff and stab your head off

i think its coz they dont have any crumple zones built in / cant have crumple zones because of the way its built?

so if you have an accident, the bonnet doesnt absorb the energy buy bending / crumpling, it has a good chance of causing bad injuries

and when they do break they are sharp shards of stuff and stab your head off

thats why they use them in all supercars and in some awesome but not quite supercars.

carbon bonnet will cost heaps more than that mate for a magna...maybe a skyline or something might be around that area, but magna will have to be custom built...jetspeed do custom jobs, i got a quote for some r34 vents in the bonnet on the magna...$1400 so take ur wallet if u're set on it

letterbox grille....depends who does it...if its u...some bog, mesh and adhesive and it should get ya outta trouble. generally ones already made fetch $100-150on here and the respray well depends if u get the inside of ur doors, engine bay etc done...anything for $2k(dodgey mates rates job) to roughly $10k

Considering everything you have listed here are cosmetic mods that add weight to the car, I'm guessing you're not too worried about performance? So seeing as you're not doing the whole carbon fibre hood for weight reduction, you could just use some of that stick on carbon fibre look-alike. It will get the effect you're after.

For the price you would pay for a proper white respray (as mentioned before, anywhere between $2k and $10k), you might aswell sell your car and just buy a white one. Much easier. (Actually, for the $10k for the respray + the $4k or so from selling your TE, you could pick up a white VRX for about $14k. Hey, that'd save you on the VRX kit and parabolics aswell!)
