I'm getting an intermittent problem on my TJ. Whenver the car is on, and I turn the aircon on, I hear a loud clunk from the the engine pay and the car shakes. After the clunk, everything runs fine and the aircon works great. Im just a little concerned by it. No clunks if I turn the car on with the aircon already activated however.

Any ideas on what it could be would be appreciated.

This has been done to death, have a search there are heaps of threads mate hopefully should help :)

Normal mate.

Have tried to fix. Have learnt to live with it.

Mine used to do it until i had all the belts changed and it stoped. Its been 30000klms since doing it and had never heard it again.

All good mate hope it helped i have the same issue i have just learnt to live with it, it usualy only happens with cars with Climate control :) anyways
