The week has been shi-, got better near the end, but its still bad.

Was driving home from the club sat night (had nothing to drink, dont do drugs), going round a roundabout and off I slide.

30-40km/h, sliding, crash into the gutter.

Have done this a few times before (the roundabouts had oil spilt on it a few times, was wet as well), so I turn to drive off, massive problem

Seems I have bent my wheel back, into the body, breaking the steering arm and more than likly a few more things.

Parked the car 100m up the road, in front of a mechanic, then an ambo comes up (mates dad), got a lift home.

Basically, how much should I be looking at for the fixing of this crap.

Cheers all, will be getting photo's

How longs a bit of string??
I don't think anyone here can tell you, because we don't know whats broken or how bad the damage is.
You see it might look better than you think and then you start to pull things off/apart and find out how much damage you've really done.
Can be deciving (sp?) untill it's jacked up and parts start to be removed.

an update:

The lower control arm is bent to hell and back, and the lower part of the suspension (dont ask me, he just pointed at it)

All up, $506 to fix (inc labour)

would the council be liable for that seeing how the roads wasn't in a good condition?

prolly not, though the place I took it tells me they get LOTS of vehicles coming in that have slid on that roundabout
