hey guys, i had a bit of a hiccup with my car today
i was driving along today and had to do a u turn.
i had my a/c on and when i went to turn full lock to do the turn my car stalled as soon as i hit full lock.. i lost all steering and everything.
im thinking maybe its an idle problem? i had the a/c on with no accelerator and some brakes and maybe the full lock of the power steering killed the engine?
it was really weird and i looked like an ass stalled on the wrong side of the road, the idle is good when the car is parked..
any idea what it could of been?
i tried to replicate the same thing but nothing happened.

full lock on the power steering does put extra load on the motor
with everything on

brakes used up vaccume

doesnt happen to a V6 normally

try not to hold your car in a full lock

yep you bad lol

try not to hold your car in a full lock

power steering cars should NEVER be allowed to sit on full lock EVER!
its bad for the power steering pumps for a start.

the way i always do a hard / 'full lock' turn is to turn it all the way until it hits the lock point and then back it off a bit.
engine seems to prefer 'not quite full lock' to full lock.
