Looking at replacing the standard cloth seats in my TF with leather ones. What price would I be looking at and where is the best place to get them from other than a wrecker?

Otherwise, a trimmer will do it, id expect to pay around $1000-$1500 Id imagine to get your seats retrimmed.

You can go leatherette for $500, or there's a set of black leather seats for 3rd gen on ebay and a set of beige leather trims on there aswell.

i'd do a completed items search on ebay and email the seller of the KL/KW black leather interior that was for sale and offer him whatever you think, the black leather in the later models is sweet!

just have to disable the side airbags in the seats, not that you would be able to plug them in anyway lol

I got a few quotes to get me seats and door cards retrimmed in black leather and they were all around the $2000-$2500 mark for a decent job.

Leatherette is cheaper of getting some genuine Verada seat covers from eBay.

and you just need 1m of vinyl oops sorry leatherette (bull****) to do the door inserts, 3rd gen verada door inserts eg KE-KJ are vinyl :P so easy job, and he interior will look a million bucks, be real leather and not that fake slip on flebay cheap nasty non auto grade vinyl... i used to sell the stuff i know about auto grade vinyls

thats a cheap leather retrim....we charge bout 4500 for all seats and door inserts....thats genuine leather...better quality than faux....i can get the full gen leather kits better than factory for all cars for about 1600 plus 500 swapping all the plastics etc over to put on the trims.....and u can get any colour leather even dif colour inserts, and any colour boot stitching....plus ill do the inserts for 200 for the lot.....and that will outlast any faux leather and even the gen mitsu leather, as the factory covers are not all leather...only the faces are gen leather

Whatever you do dont get the "leatherette". It is vinyl. No matter how you look at it you will be disappointed that you didnt go for the real stuff. We have moved on from the 60's and 70's where vinyl interiors in "buffalo grain" and "basket weave" were "in". :)

Can I ask where you got these from?? Ive been desperately trying to find them, im in Perth, and would pay 550 immediately for them!!

$1,200 i was quoted but only because he had the designs for factory fitted leather.
