Just a quick thanks to all those people out there that helped with info on installing my new hu in my te. Made it so much easier with the previous detailed posts and pics.

Installed a new 2008 kenwood unit and 4 blue cold cathodes. Will take pics tonight once it gets darker to do it some justice then upload them.

Ditto with the thanks guys, I also put in a new Sony MEX-BT2500 (I can finally listen to MP3s) on the weekend and the instructions were very handy, although I remember doing it a few years back and not having the instructions hence why I found the vent cable disconnected on the weekend, I always wondered why I never noticed a difference whether it was on or off... lol

EDIT. Stereo is still be fully adjusted to fit properly. It is a Kenwood KDC-139. Unfortunately not MP3 but I have 30 gig Ipod so not a problem.
Second photo is my ccfl installed photo doesnt do justice much brighter than in pic. Easy to install ran wiring through roof to light.
