For front.... http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069896_35027,00.html

For the back..... Im using my stock speakers and running of headunit.

For the sub... http://www.ryda.com.au/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GTO1204BR

I'd go with some Focal splits for that kinda cash.

Check out www.fhrxstudios.com.au

I "made" this system for a guy at work which i rekon would sound better than yours. Factor in another $300 odd for some sound deadening.

Head Unit
Eclipse CD3100 $369 5v preout(NFIELD)
Alpine CDE9881i $349 2v preout(NFIELD)

Front stage (6.5” splits)
Hertz ESK165.3 $265 100wrms@4 (FHRX)
Alpine SPR17S $299 110wrms@4 (NFIELD)
Focal 165A1 $259 60wrms@4 (FHRX)

Subwoofer
Pheonix Gold Ryval V12S 300WRMS@4 $189 (FHRX)
Tero TSi 12.4 $299 200wrms@4 (FHRX)
DD512 $249 250wrms@4 (FHRX)

Amplifier
Jaycar AA-0426 $299 4x100@4 (2x100wrms & 1x380wrms) (JAYCAR)

Max cost - $1266
My choice (underlined)- $1226

X2 on the JBLs.. They are an excellent brand name synonymous with great bang for buck subs.

I would personally look toward more to what Nick suggested.

I would prefer the Hertz splits ( got Deici 6.5inch in g/f car and HSK 165's in my bro's car ) they just seem really nice the whole way through there line up. The Focals will sound awesome as well however they are not as forgiving if you mount them bad.

Will through another sub into the mix to, the Oz Audio Vector series. $299 in DVC 2 or 4 ohm. The are from FHRX to. Always been a fan of the Treo ones thou. :D

Dynamat Xtreme will set you back around $30 a sheet if you dont want a bulk pack. Definately worth it!!

X2 on the Dynamat Xtreme.

Ok, so I've used 2 bulk packs and a door kit - however, door kit alone makes a massive difference.

I done the inner skin with 1 layer, and the outer skin with 2 layers on the top 2/3's (did not go below where the strip is on the outside, as water leaks down from there). Did not seal anything with MDF.

Even with stock speakers, the difference was very clear - done one door at a time, and even the stock speakers sounded so much better than before - I was not a believer until I done this
