Enjoying the electric windows on my TJ. The TS Advance did not offer this luxury. Particularly love the quick, one touch/automatic DOWN feature on the drivers window. However, can't understand why no One-Touch up/close function. Wife's 88 Pulsar has the One-touch up feature. or does Mitsubishi reserve this for the up spec cars (Veradas)? Hey Verada owners please tell do you have this and from what year/series on. This is one feature I would like to get from a wrecker. BTW another thing I would be tempted to try is the auto dimming mirror and those sunvisors with the mirrors and lights are cool (wife thinks so anyway). Verada owners are those auto dimming mirrors as good as the are made out to be?????

I bought an auto clsing module from ebay a while back, bascally when you lock ur doors with the remote it puts all your windows up.

Nifty idea, still in the box though :(

Bout as close as you are going to get to an all-up function.

No my 2000 Verada only has the auto-down feature. And yes, the auto-dimming rear view and drivers side mirrors work quite well :D

my KL only has Auto down on the drivers window.

auto dimming mirrors are very cool - i didnt realise i had them until one day i was driving along and i noticed that the cars behind me looked "green"
took me a while to notice the glowing green LED of the autodim for the mirror.
when i found the sensor for it - i had fun putting my finger over it and moving it to make the dimmer come on / go off.

the drivers door mirror dimming too is a very neat feature too.

auto up on the windows would be cool - but i dont mind holding the switch when im collecting all my stuff to take inside with me - coz by the time iv picked up my phone, and taken the keys outa the igniton the window is up.

Hi all,

The reason behind the lack of the Auto Up window feature could be that some american children (read: parents with lawyers) were getting their heads caught in the door this way. Cars with this feature usually have a safety system so that if a blockage is detected, the window stops and retracts a bit. As Magnas and Veradas have no such system this may be why no Auto Up is included. Strange thing is the Sunroof has this protection feature!
The auto mirrors are brilliant (especially when a STUPID 4WD with STUPID spottys on its bullbar at window height  ) is following you! most of the time (instead of the former), you don't even know there working until you get in another car and become blind:shock: .

I guess you could add an autoclosure module and add a momentary pushbutton switch or rocker switch (there are nice ones), somewhere like the door or dash, which is connected to the input of the autocloser. You might need to add a diode to stop it locking your doors if you've connected the autocloser to your keyless entry / alarm. The only thing is that it would fully close all windows not just one unless it was just connected to the driver's window (a waste though).
