alright,
i am in the early stages of painting my car and just wanted to see what everyone thinks of the colour...
it is called Solomon/vivid blue pearl and is found on the Maserati's and i believe some fords.
I have painted an extra bonnet that i have lying around... and bolted it to the car...
here are a couple of photo's, tell me what you think...
i have started a poll on this so vote vote vote!
thanks CASS-VRXTJ who has given up some of her time to help me do some sanding and buffing :) (she gonna hate me when i do the whole thing...:bowrofl: :bowrofl: :nutkick:
thanks

Very nice. That, with either satin black or dark silver highlights will look hot.

like the colour, but i recon it would look sick if u two toned ua car, well not exactly two tone.
do the bonnet, roof and boof, and do the rest of the car either the grey on your front bumper, or a light blue.
my opinoin. but if u were to paint the whole car, would still look sick.

Looks great, but make sure you do the whole car at once, otherwise you'll get mis matching panels...

TS 3.0L
I am doing this on a budget of $500 - 600
I have done all the prep/primer/paint/clear/ buffing etc all myself with the help of a very lovely lady (CASS-VRXTJ) thanks babe :)
we are doing it over the festive break (starting next weekend) **this is gonna be lots of work :P**
No i am not doing it in Two Tone.
the whole car will be done in this colour.
it will be a full home job... but a few people have already seen my home jobs and can't tell the diff...the darker the colour the harder it will be as i need to ensure panels are perfectly smooth....
it won't be done panel by panel Riighty.... the whole car will be done in 1 go mate.
cheers

Gotta love that blue....Really nice!
After I got my sapphire blue VR-X I'm really hooked on all the dark blues.. especially with a tiny little bit of pearl....
Great work... Can't wait to see the finished product...!! Watch those paint fumes...
