ok well since recently getting my lisence back i have finally been able to see the difference my strut and sway bars have made, because i added those during my lisence suspension

BUT i am noticing when i go over a speed bump a little quicker then norm or even a pot hole that i can hear a CLUNK sound, like metal touching metal

coming from what i believe is the rear left handside of the car
my mate thinks if could be the rear swaybar that was installed, because it wasnt a replacement from a stock sway but a full rear swaybar kit

any ideas, because that cant be good

check the bushings in that area... one of them might be absolutely gone, causing that noise.

also check that your exhaust pipe, as it may be nocking up against the sway bar. the way i fixed this same noise was to adjust the exhuast further to wards the passenger side and bent a couple of mounts on the exhuast. good luck.

Get her up on ramps and get someone (preferebly fat or 2 guys) to bounce in (not on) the boot while you lie under the car and see if you can see whats makin the noise :)
