Fellas need some help here. Can someone tell me what sort of crank angle sensor the mitsu 3.5 engine uses? Specifications would be great. I want to put a lpg timming advance processor on my 2001 Pajero and need to know the specs. More info the better.

Its going on an lpg powered vehicle. 2001 Pajero Exceed 3.5 litre engine same as the magna 3.5. I can always put a unichip on it but its not really worth it. I only want to advance the timming whilst on lpg. My lpg supplier sells the units but need to know exactly what the vehicle has on it so we get it right the first time around. Will save some freight costs im in Melb he is in Perth.
Note: vehicle has coil packs not distributor.

I rang Mitsu today i found out its a hall effect crank angle sensor. They couldnt tell me how many teeth it has. Apparently mitsu does not supply them this information. Im going to go with 6 teeth if it works great if not it goes back.
Regards
its got 3

Pajero exceed has coil packs... Interesting (thinking of ripping out the dizzy and converting to packs). I'll have to see if I can find a pic somewhere...
