Are Redback mufflers straight through or the same design as the factory gear? (I know the Lukey is a straight through)
Reason I ask because the entry and exit pipes on the muffler are offset....
Can someone clarify please.

Pretty sure they are straight thru but I've never cut one open to confirm. If you look inside the tailpipe, you will see that the perforated pipe inside the muffler is bent in the direction of the inlet at the other end of the muffler......... if you know what I mean. So I think it's straight thru (with a couple of "kinks" inside the muffler so that the inlet and outlet are offset)

I put a redback on my car when i first got it and i was suitably impressed with it i must say. Nice note, no drone, and when you were cruisin, there was a nice soft hum.

they are straight through, to an extent. if you look in 1 end you can see out the other, they just have a slight bend in the centre (to go from off centre to centre) but that's all. that little bend just takes a touch more noise out then straight through. i had a lukey that was the same (off centre to centre) on my last TH and with the centre muffler removed it sounded sweet.

redback make a variety of different muffers. if you really want to know if yours is straight through or not get a thick piece of rope and push it through. If it comes out the other end then you got yourself a straight through muffler if not it's a tripple flow.
