Hey guys im fitting a new front bar (justa standard one) to my XI KJ Verada and cause i know nothing about cars is there anywhere i could get a detailed explenation on how to do it. Also my air bags wont come out if i take the front bar off will they???. (Also it has to be instructions on the kj xi verada cause of the driving lights and everything). Thanks in advance.

Have a look around for a link to the workshop manual - it gives a detailed breakdown of how to remove the front bar.

The airbags shouldn't fire. AFAIK the sensors need a pretty serious hit to set the system off. For extra security, disconnect the battery.

PM me your email and I'll send you the manual for the front BB.... I have the TJ/KJ service manuals...

Just to be on the safe side... It's a bit more involved than most people think...

It's piss easy mate. Literally a few bolts and screws. Get the workshop manual and you will be fine.

Edit - It's alot easier with the front wheels off.

two screw each side near wheel well and the two big bolts in the support bar if you get under the car its much easier to see the bolts (i think they have a painted red head on them
then just pull straight off the car really easy
