Firstly we would like to apologise for the time delay but it is entirely my own fault but only because I am one fussy bastard

Essentially the new race design was made on a AWD model vehicle first with the intention of making two model flex pipes to suit AWD and FWD model vehicles.

The system was made and fitted like a glove on the 2wd model AKA Manuels car and was showing good results.

But I was still bothered that the headers were still not as closed to a tuned length design as what I wanted so I stopped production of them. with the AWD model room at the rear header is an issue so the current design will remain as that is teh best we can do with the AWD setup.

So what we have done is redesigned the rear header to now match the front header on teh 2wd models specifically and are now remaking the flex pipe.

What this means is we are keeping to our tuned length princicples so we can make sure we get more torque and more power. The effect will be an improvement even more over what we got from Manuels car.

So this is the latest news and what is happening and why it happened. We are making the headers now and then finishing off the flex pipes very soon. New ETA is approx end of March at this time.

I apologise for those who have waited with there pre paid deposits - those who have please contact me as I will discuss some options with those people specifically over the phone which I am sure they will love.

Otherwise we will keep on moving with our r&d

As much as it upsets me to have to wait another month for those bad boys, it just means this month I get to blow my money on some shiny new ICE gear instead (thanks fhrx)

Of course it's nice to know I'll be able to kick Manual's arse too, so that makes it worth the wait ;)

Will ground clearance still be the same as planned (I.e. no different to stock)?

i had no issue with ground clearance with mine - and i don't think the change in design has affected the front header - which is the lower part - so correct me if I am wrong dave - but it should be fine

They are sounding pretty damn good.
How much are a set of these baby's likely to set me back?

The race extractors will have longer primaries right? mmmm... More Torque... GO FOR IT DUDES!

Correct it is only the rear header we are altering so no ground clearance is not an issue.

Yes the longer primaries are good for torque as well as our pipe diameters are just short of 1 3/4" so lots of good mid to high rpm power balanced by long primaries for low rpm torque.

Sort of a balanced set for power everywhere with no specific area being primarily focused on.

curious also Mitsiman, if the primaries/secondaries on the single turbo will be tuned length too?

So, any estimate on when the finished race lengths will be ready?
