ok
So 2 brand new HU's, One for my brothers car, a 1996 Magna 4 cyl
And one for my car, a 2000 Magna TJ 3.5 ltr.

Wired up exactly the same, but it seems the one in my brother car works but mine doesnt

Checked fuses and no problems there

I dont think i am getting any power to ether of the 12v wires

Any ideas?

I have also tried the earth wire on a few different places

maybe the harness has changed between the TE and TJ?

hmm, too many variables for us to be able to help.

try swapping the HU's around. see if the one that doesnt work, works in the other car.

that will make sure the HU isnt faulty

Did you use a multimeter or at least a 12V tester...
