I went to get my magna regassed this week and the guy told me i needed a new filter and he couldnt do it right away, needed to book it in for another day, so i did but not till the new year.

My question is, by filter did he mean the dryer? If it is what i think it is has anyone changed it themselves? I would like my a/c up an running asap.

you need a new dryer every time a dryer is exposed to the air
you may need to replace the tx valve behind the glove box

the new gas
the gas also contains a special oil to protect the air con compressor

the laws require only certified qualified air con fix these systems
it is not easy to get supply of the gas required
you can get frost bite or severe burns with these gases
