Hey all,

Has anyone else had problems with their door seals? At the start of the year I got around to buying a new set of front door seals. When I bought my new seals the guy at Mitsu said it was the last one in Aust and they had to source it from WA. The problem is that the driver's side seal has already split. So even if I wanted a new one there's apparently none left in Aust.

Has anyone else had a problem with theirs?

Might be worthwhile trying some superglue; superglue is actually quite good at gluing rubber together. I glued together a split in a high-stress area of some flippers, and they are still good at least a year later, practically impossible to tell where the split was.

Yeah, that was the reason why I went to a Mitsu dealer to get it replaced. Not sure which side it was but I got the last one in the Mitsu system when I replaced mine, might have been the passenger side though. Was about $100 each. 'Cos of the price I thought I'd get one that'd be around for a few years but it's barely been 9 months. The real bitch of it is that it hasn't just split there is one spot where it has broken right thru. I'll see if I can get a pic up sometime to show ya.

Ended up using super glue to stick the broken ends to the door frame, still not impressed that a new door seal would break after 9 months. Cheers for the idea, Rogue.
