Hi all,

Gotsa '97 KF Verada Ei in Madeira that is stock stock stock and even though it`s stock it drives so well that it was enough to get me out of my BA Futura daily and back into the Verada.

We bought the Verada 5 years ago for my wife to cart our new family around in comfort and it`s served us well. There`s just no denying the quality build of the 3rd gen magnas/Veradas and I`m still impressed today at how good these things are.

But obviously I`m preaching to the choir here aren`t I? ;)

So after recently buying a Ford BA Futura Wagon for work and after driving it for 6 months I`m totally disgusted by it. Sure it`s nice and new and powerful and large etc etc but the gearbox is a total abomination, the interior is as plastic as old Falcons and there`s absolutely no connection with road - apart from when the dodgy live axle rear end is jumping all over the place around bumpy corners..

So after 6 months I`d had enough and told the wife she could have it for the kids and I`ll take the Verada thanks!

And the Verada is just as sweet as the day we bought it.

I`m not planing on doing crazy mods to it as it`s mainly a daily driver and I have other toy cars to modify, but I`m happy as Larry now I`ve got it back and thought I might aswell have a look-see around the forums.

I`ll be tinkering with the stereo mainly so I have a couple of questions I`ll post soon..

Anyway, that`s the story. Here`s a pic although like I said, it`s el-stocko!

that is a VERY tidy example of an KF Verada, and she will continue to serve you well into the future im sure (well hope at least)

Looks like a very nice car mate, to tell you the truth even though its not moded its still a nice car and doesnt need much work at all. hope you enjoy ur stay and have a good new years.

yeah even though I said I don`t really want to do any far out mods I`d still love to get some rims and get it lowered. I`ve never had a stock standard car in my life so maybe an evil interest free wheel deal might be on the cards ;)
