i recently got a 97 TE Magna (a manual as well :D ) and i really wanna change the head lights and tail lights. where should i go to find out whats available, how much and how to get some.

You should be able to source clear tailights easily enough for no more than say $260 if that's the look your after. (Try this online store: http://www.ozeparts.com.au/)

As for the headlights, parabolics are the way to go for between $450-550 depending if you want the 2-piece or 1-piece variety. Search for the user bogus on these forums, he'll help you out there. I think he even has a thread going in the For Sale / Wanted section at the moment.

Clear side indicators ($90.00 at most for a set of 2) are also a good adition while your at it. :-)

hey dood and welcome. clear talklights, if thats wat your after, you could prolly get for about $230-240 bucks and look pretty schmick.

headlights as akko said, a guy bogus comes on here irregularly and sells them for about $450.

clear side indicators depends wat you want. VT commo ones i can get for ya for about $20-30, genuine ones from ozeparts (dont look good) are about $55 and proper Lancer ones that fir straight in are about $70-80.

the advice did help quite a bit. might b a lil while b4 i do put them on cause of cash.

however i am having a full cat-bak exhaust put on hopefully 2 months at very latest. 2.5inch inlet all the way, big ass muffler n dual 2.5 inch tips. hopefully give a bit of grumble :)

Cat back is good, but you won't get the quality burble until you put on Extractors. And if you're getting a Straight through exhaust, make sure you have good and tuned resonators, else you're going to be droned to death. Extractors also help to reduce drone and add burble!

so yeah. EXTRACTORS/HEADERS are the way to go.
