My wife got me some Narva fog lights for christmas to put in the vacant light insert holes of my TL vrx front bar. They are 5mm too large going by the specs on the pack, do you guys recommed just getting the genuine lights from Mitsu or just wire up and fit these Narva ones.

The pair of Narva lights cost less than one genuine vrx light. Is it worth it or will they be a nuisance in the long run?

genuine mitsu foggies / driving lights = expensive.

surely they might just squeeze into the space - have you tried them out of the box against the front bar yet or just gone by the dimensions?

as long as they are no brighter than the standard issue / gen mitsu foggies, then you shouldnt get hassled by the cops either for putting too bright - a bulbs in there.

biggest hassle i could imagine being (even though i have never done this myself) would be wiring it all up to a switch on the dash...

When i blew a foggie recently, Mitsu wanted to replace the entire fitting $137, which intrigued me, as all i wanted to know was what bulb it took... H7 btw.

Mitsu uses Hella brand foggies I think. Just give the Narva ones a go.
