hey guys,
This is my 1st post, and yes i already have a problem.....
yesterday i installed my 2 subs and amp but when i went to test em out there was nothing.. all the wiring appears to be correct (i even had a mate look at it) but now none of my speakers work (rear and front).. my 1st thought was a blew a fuse but i cheaked all the fuses and they are all fine... then i unhooked the amp and subs thinking maybe that they were cousing the problem but still nothing.. i am stumped
any help would be great
thanx..

Welcome...
Check wiring,
POwer to headunit?
Power to the amp? rca's pluggd in both ends?
RCA's plugged into the right output? check FAD/BAL settings on headuinit
RCA's plugged into the right input?
Check gains on amp,
Check lowpass/high pass filters on amp
Check crossovers? wirirng all correct?
speakers? Wiring correct?
Trace it back ,it 'll be something simple most likely
Try pluggiong an ipod straight into the amp.

thanks for the fast reply..
yeah there is power to the head unit and the RCA's are in correct.. the speakers were working before sub and amp install but ill have another look at it 2day and look for wat u said..
thanx
Is it a Pioneer headunit? Might have blown the track fuse inside it.
I'm not sure what effect blowing that fuse would have exactly but maybe its worth connecting an iPod or something directly in to the amp like Tim suggested just to make sure they're set up properly and working. Rules stuff out one by one.

Sounds like head unit is going into protect mode.
