have had the car for awhile and am getting the shockies done soon but thinking about leaving the suspension where it is as hard as it is to get over speed bumps etc.

Hi and welcome.
Definately looks aftermarket or chopped. Can you post a pic of the spring itself?

Hmmm, I might borrow this thread after (hopefully) yours has been solved and do the same myself.
I know mines got something after-market on it (they're bright red) but have absolutely no idea what; same situation as the OP, except I bought mine from a dealer who didn't know what the previous guy had done to it. :)

Basic colours to brands:
Yellow = King Springs
Blue = Lovells
Red = Most likely Pedders
Those are some of the common brands and colours you'd find around.

i was thinking that you might of had whiteline springs in your car
but the spring is a lighter blue so maybe lovells?
If this is the car I think it is they're lovells and they've been cut.

Hey Sorry to hijack the post, but I've taken pics of my springs, I've got these Yellow ones all the way around, just wanted to know if they King Springs? (I only thought they might be because someone else on the post said that Yellow springs were normally King Springs) They are pretty hard and handle well, but I want to raise the car a bit because it scrapes on EVERYTHING and I'm worried it will damage something.
The car sits lower at the front for some reason, so I was thinking of just raising the front to match the back, can anyone tell me if this is possible?

cut = not good.
you'd better elaborate for the new owners (yz666) benefit
plus we are all curious :P

if its lower in the front youv probably got king superlows on the front and king lows on the rear, its a popular combo on here because at stock height there is a bigger gap between hub to wheel arch at the front wheels. plus king springs dont make superlows

Ah thanks Reup, so if I get a set of King Lows for the front this will even things up?? Not hugely fussed about the gaps between hub and arch, more worried about the scratches I'm putting on the bottom of the front bumper everytime I go up my driveway, bastard thing is just stupidly low!!
Did we ever get clarification from PIV on the "If its the car I'm thinking of..." comment? Yz666 seems happy enough with his cars height, but it might help him to know if someone has done something nasty to it before he got it
