Any model numbers of the amp/sub?
And RMS figures?

i have 2 subs (kenwood 12") and they are both running off the 1 pioneer amp (800watt monoblock) but im thinking of getting another amp (same kind ) and running each sub off an amp, the subs are 400watts rms and the amp is 360watt rms at 2 ohms (i think) ill check it out later... to wat i can gather it should be sweet... but just thought ill double check
oh model numbers... subs areKFC-W3011 and amp is GM-7300

its better to have a higher rating rms monoblock so that it can power the subs with ease and also have abit of extra power incase you wish to upgrade but also means you can turn the gains down to put less stress on the amps
the amp you got should be fine for one of the subs, but not for two
i would either buy a bigger amp or another amp similar to the one you've got (which you've said your going to do)

yeah thought that is was a bit underpowered... wat amp would u recommend?? like to run both subs?? coz i can always use my current amp to run my front speakers (wen i buy them) that being said...wat speakers would u guys recommend for the front??
oh another question... i just measured my sub box and use the rockford site to calculate the cubic feet... it worked out as 1.15 cubic feet and my sub is recommened at 1.25 cu.ft is that okay or not??

well i payed 280 or so 4 the amp ive got so if i just get another 1 of them to power my 2 subs... means more money for front speakers... and should i run the front speakers off an amp or not??

Need the proper long term power RMS rating for the sub and amp. It is fine to slightly overdrive a sub with clean power, rather than underpowering the speaker.

i have to agree price is really a big question i brought a fusion 1500watt mono block ( power plant series ) it cost me over 800 buck's and it running 2 fusion 12inch sub's ..... so really as everyone says price pays a big part ........ also try to get a branded brand (not sony :rocket: )
