Does any one use balaning sand and no I'm not making this up.

Insted of using lead counter weights or the little sticky lead weights to balance a wheel, you can remove all weights, deflate tyre and remove the valve needle thingy, pour balancing sand though the valve(about 100g per wheel), reassemble and drive away. As the wheel turns the sand finds it's own balance point giving balance for ever. I place of balancing sand, fine white sand can be used. Two don'ts, 1. no tubed tyres. 2. corse or abbrasive sand=stuffed tyre realy quick

is it like... "sticky sand" they use?

and wouldnt it vibrate loose being inside the tyre, which would lead to balance not being so.

is the sand spose to stick to the tyre, or the inside of the mag / wheel?

i know - im no help, but some information on this could be good :)

loose sand, and centrifical force moves the sand to where its needed on the inside of the tyre
