hmm.
now ive finished installing my new speakers.
pioneer 6" splits in the front
cadence 6X9' 3-ways in the rear
i know im not meant to crank new speakers, but i did a bit,
and my spoiler rattles like a bitch!
it only stops when i hold it / apply pressure
any stories and/or suggestions to stop the rattle!?!?!
thanks in advance
EDIT: Could it be that there is something rattling inside it?

the only way to REALLY get rid of the rattle is to remove the spoiler.
if you dont want to do that, check the bolts are up tight, and sound deaden the boot lid.
you wont ever get rid of the rattle.
also - check your numberplate, esp in VL comos, they rattle a LOT when the fulli sik bass is up bro..
in that case, put some foam tape on the underside of the numberplate to stop that rattling.

Most of the rattle will come from the spoiler being loose, which has been noted however the rest seem to come from the wire that hooks up to your brake light in the spoiler.
Never got around to taking the light out to secure the wire down... You can take it off and fill it with foam, that will reduce it. Since my spoiler actually flexed when the sub was cranked, I tried 2 layers of deadening and 3sq metres carpet ( for weight ) and the rattles just moved to the undercarrage so I gave up with the magna.

Ye, its hard to make them all go. A few sheets of Dynmat has really reuced the rattle. As did making sure all the bolts were tight, including the locking mechanism. My spoiler still rattles, but not as bad as it used to.
I am going to get arround to Dynmating the whole boot to see if that helps at all.
You can also remove the spoiler, and underline the supports with a very thin rubber mat (3mm works fine available from all good rubber stores), then rebolt the spoiler on so it beds into the rubber mat. If trimmed correctly, it is barely visable between the boot lid and spoiler supports..
