hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows the paint colour code for the charcoal/black paint on a 95 ts? i cant find it on the panel under the bonnet.

ive attached a pic if it helps.

You will find the paint code on the top left hand side as you look at it. From what i can read it is AY. Good Luck.:cool:

lol i thought it was that, but AY seemed to simple and when i google it nothing comes up, can you buy this colour at parts shop or do i need to go and get it mixed?

some colours you can but. juts go to Auto 1, Autobarn or something like that and they will mix it up for you

go to supercheap, its called strato grey, get it in a little can for about $9, goes a fair way. same colour as mine, ive used a heap of the stuff

But yeah, AY is strato (or sometimes stratos?) grey, it's available everywhere. If you are redoing or fixing a panel, best to get it colour-matched instead of using a stock colour. But it's fine if you aren't doing anything that needs to match, eg. I did my side strips in strato grey (still gotta do the bumpers), and my car is misty rose (AE).

ive gotta get it mixed, $30 bucks a can, we only have a repco here and they dont stock it, so yeah im stuck with the expensive one, i just bought a ks verada grille off dimi that im colour coding...:D
