ill start off by saying im not sure if this thread should go here or to Mods section, either way if i have made a mistake, my appologies to anyone who has to move it, due to my mistake :).
Ive been wanting to change the look within my car, im refering to the dashboard, the instruments, the plastic bits really, with a different colour, grey maybe? my main questions are below:
1. Can i purchase these items already painted and ready for install? if so where from?
2. If i would have to do this myself, how hard would this be? i generally let the knowledgable people do all the work when it comes to cars, but i wana do some mods of my own with my own hands :P
3. is it hard to take off the pastic parts / replace the plastic parts?
If none of this makes sense, please tell me im more then happy to rephrase it in anyway i can
Thanks in Advance
Balkanite
Edit: i know im in no position to make requests :P, just wondering if there is an electronical Version of the Workshop Manual for TE-TF Magna's?
Kind Regards

the entire dash is VERY hard to pull out - well maybe just moer time consuming but you have to be carefull in doing it.
i guess thats why most people havnt changed the colour of this dash.
the cluster should pop out of the dash relatively easy - but changing the colour of it could be slightly more difficult.
i have heard of and see pics of people putting pictures of thier car / different nice to look at background (shapes, colours etc) by printing it all in high quality resolution and on good paper and literally sticking it to the cluster and making the 'cutouts' for the numbers etc to shine through.
things like door cars and center consoles are the easiest to paint, as they come off with ease.
you can just use stuff like VHT dyes to change the colour of these parts with ease. :)
hope thats some help to you.
i have the pdf version of the workshop manual - it came from here i think, but i dont know where it came from, it just appeared one day! im sure someone can link you to it
good thing to have on hand though :)

My philosophy is where possible, and cost permitting, grab some spares from a wreckers, grab some spraycans, and knock yourself out! (<safety_warning>not with the fumes though, always work in a well ventilated area</safety_warning>)
That way if you muff it, you haven't got an undriveable car! And if it does turn out how you wanted, you can keep your originals to return it to stock if need be in the future.

Sounds like an awesome idea, not the knocking myself out with paint fumes part  , the part about spares from the wreckers, thanks :)

PDF Workshop manuals (75mb):
http://aocn.net/files/downloads/apps/mitsu.tar.gz
(from this thread (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33807))
For TH-TJ mind you. However, 95% of parts are common to the TE, TF and TH.
