Is it very hard installing splits in the TJ as there is no speakers near the dashboard are there any wires running there or do I have to run some? also are the rear speakers just 6x9

the fronts are the same as a sedan. there are two little holes on the dash you can pop open and use to sit the speakers on. people usuall cut a hole in the top cover and sit the tweeter flush in there
the rears on the tailgate are 6x9's, it is a bit of a pain to get to them. a lot of plastic parts needs to be removed. but you'll be able to work it out.

nah there wont be any wires already in there. but you should be able to run some in yourselves somehow. i havent done it myself but other people here have worked it out. I think u can just squeeze the wires around the back of the dash.

I wouldnt put the tweeters in that spot, period. Theres to many nasty reflections from the glass.
If you want a stealth look, then the stock Sail pannel covers work a treat. Sound much better than up top.

Kick panel work well, you can mount you xover and tweeter down there without a problem. You may have to run the woofers wire through the grommet though... :D

Kick pannel works very well. Good depth and width, but poor height.
however, with alot of playing, I found the best place was in the A pillars angled approx towards the rear view mirror. Seems to combine the best combination of image, and detail. However, your probably not wanting to fibreglass your A pillars
So, i say
1. A pillars
2. Kick pannels
3. Sail pannels

I'm trying to take out the back speakers on the Wagon TJ, Do I have to take out all of the plastic around the window or just the grey bit I got all of the plastic clips out on the grey area but having troubles getting it off.

What model were your Pioneer tweeters? I might need the mounts for my jaycars (sorry to hijack), and I can check the dimension in a catalogue thingy I got, and compare.
And The Magnaforce, I donno about the tweeters, I just saved the pictures.

my tweeters are part of a split set. the model num is TS-CS1625. they were only about 1mm or so too small, didnt take me much work, just filed it out and glued em in with liquid nails

well those are advertised as 27mm, but I think that'd be the cone diameter, not the OD of the actual casing, if foaley77's are 39mm across... so I guess your average 1" tweeter can be forced in there one was or another...
