Well i got my car lowered again a week or too back and i had to replace new bumpstops to jack it up again.
my tyres were hitting the top of the rear wheel well(tub) when turning and any slight bump ripping the s**t out of my tyres. having a look up there there is only a 1inch square bump that rubs. this bit sticks out more than the rest of the tub.

So my question is has anyone angle grinded it away or is it smashable with a hammer?

on the plus side.... i was tucking rim! lol. im running 245/35 rubber which is obviously more than necessary and if i got say a 30 series maybe it would help but in the mean time i dont have a spare $1200 and want to be lower.

thanks for help

when looking at the car from the passengers side, at around the 10o'clock position there was some interference with my wheels there... it was all nice and shiny the paint had worn off etc...

got out my big hammer belted the bugger and happy days no more rubbing there

also had a problem are around the 3:30 position opposite side...

there is an internal seam, 5min with the grinder and hammer made a few small cuts and belted it flat with the hammer

again all good

best thing is you can tell it was modded, unless you pull the wheels off and have a good close look under there

although this is on a sedan not a wagon, so the inner guards may be different....

just go nuts its just a metal car, no big deal :P

yeah me guards are alraedy rolled, and then i did them again. and again. worked out i can do a better job myself with a steal pole than ozzytyres with a $100 budget (F**#%&$& 's)

yeah thanks andrew i think i will just have to attack it with a grinder and hammer then ey:badgrin:
