Don't you just prise off the existing indicator and replace it with the clear lens? Pretty simple really. Use something plastic so you don't mess up the paint...

Using a screwdriver, get under the rear of the lense pushing it towards the front of the car.
And lift out at the same time, this will relese the plastic clip that hold the lense to the panel. Simple as bro.... just Pop out, unplug, plug in and pop in!:D

I've just removed/replaced the side indicators (repeaters) on both my 2nd and 3rd gen Magna's.

I just used my fingers to remove the lens.
Push forward or backward (can't remember which way) and lift off the car at the same time.
Hurts ya fingers like hell but works.

I think one of the lenses was hard to move so had to break the seal between the rubber gasket & bodywork - got a very thin (& blunt) butter knife to break the seal (carefully so as not to scratch paint) Then used my fingers to remove the lens.

I did the same as GRD, safer than putting a screw driver near your paint work. I'm pretty sure its forward you push. Should come off pretty easy and they there is a clip to undo to free the indicator of the wire and then simple plugged the wire into your new indicator and put it back on the car. 5 minute job tops :)

They're designed to be removed by hand; ie. DO NOT use a screwdriver etc, you'll only mess up your paintwork.

Push the rear of the lens cover towards the front of the car firmly (it'll need a good shove if the old one has been there a while). The lens assembly should then pop away from the body and you can then easily remove it.

To install the new one, just do the reverse. Clip the front end of the the assembly into the body and push in.
