Hi all.
I have a 2.6 1992 TR executive, and I bought it with a blown TCU.
Replaced it and 3 months later, it burnt again....... (I opened and saw the melted IC).
I'm getting another one from the wreckers (another 165).......
Why do they short out and burn ? ? ?
Would it be something to do with shifting solenoids A and B (from workshop manual).? ? ?
I'm getting the tranny fluid flushed and changed before I put in the 'new' TCU.
