Do any models of magna/verada come with Chrome door handles for the outside.

I don't know if its the 3rd gens that makes me think of it, but i reckon they would look pretty sweet on My TR...

I want to either replace/fix my old ones as the colour coded paint is wearing off and needs attention.

They never came in magnas veradas in australia. however they came from many diamantes in NZ

I got a set from NZ which were silver, used paint stripper to get the silver off and i have me a full set of chrome door handles...

The whole thing is chrome although you can swap them over

Like i said not the whole lot just the handle.... I got the chrome window tint and chomeish wheels, not to mention the chrome strips around the car. and window frames.

I was thinking bout chroming the back of the mirror aswell... Or too much?

i was about to say the same thing... coz i know that tuffy has a set of INTERIOR chrome door handles, but im assuming Trotty is talking about exterior... adding to that, i didnt think/know that the diamante's came with chrome exterior door handles

while being different cars and handles etc,

kl have exterior chrome handle pulls - look good against white.

im sure it would suit a TR too, and give it a extra classy touch :)

as you are out and about cruising around, have a look at other white cars you pass
look at the door handles on them - and while they might be of different design to magna ones, it will still give you an idea of how the chrome looks let against the white.

IMO - you wont regret getting chrome exterior handles made, i dont think anyone else else on here has them on thier TR/TS KR/KS?
would be something different - then you would end up being a trend setter! hehe

but yeah, when out and about, look at the white cars and see what thier handles are like - colour coded / black / silver / chrome etc.
chrome on white looks good - not quite as good as chrome against black unfortunatly!

The guy who lives across the road from me has a white '89-91 Jap-spec Subaru Legacy sedan (yes, the grey import, not the Liberty) that has chrome door handles (amongst other nice bits like a turbo and climate control :)). If it'll help you I can try and get a photo of it and post it up. I reckon they look very sexy, for the record.
